Suzanne Pringle is a Winnipeg-based actor, film maker and artist with a blended career in the visual arts, writing, and working on both sides of
the camera over the past 20 years in Manitoba, BC, Québec and
Ontario.

Opting to take a degree in art history in Manitoba as a “fall-back
plan” to film acting introduced her to Winnipeg-based artists
and filmmakers. She has acted for Guy Maddin, Galen and Evan
Johnson (Keyhole, Hauntings I and II, Accidence), Noam Gonick
(Purple City, The Regulation of Desire), Matthew Rankin
(Mynarski: La Chute Mortelle), and Danishka Esterhazy (The
Singing Bones). She has also modeled for visual artists Cliff
Eyland, Matthieu Bohemier and Andrew Valko.

Suzanne’s on-set experience includes stand-in, set decorator and
script supervisor. Off-set she is venturing into production design.
Her fine art education oozes into her work, combining history,
religion, symbolism, visual language, and abstract ideas into her
world-building.

“Hot New Thing” (2026) is Suzanne’s sophomore film as Creative
Producer with her creative partner Lauren Messervey, the first of
a trilogy of short films she is currently developing with
Messervey to produce through 2027.
